2008 WVCSB Hosted Mission Trips

The purpose for these mission trips is to provide a mission trip for West Virginia Southern Baptists who want to go on a mission trip. Churches or individuals may participate on these trips.
Greg Wrigley, state director of missions, will lead the trips.

Full details are not yet available. These are the dates for the trips. Now is a good time to begin planning for the trip. No trip will cost more than $150 per person.

JUNE 30-JULY 5, 2008 CLEVELAND, OHIO

We plan to return to Cleveland to work with Pastor Joe Jaworski in Slavik Village. Our desire is to help with construction, sports camps, Bible camp, landscape projects, or any event that can assist Pastor Joe with the new church in Slavik Village. This will be our third trip.

JULY 12-19, 2008 TYRONE, PENNSYLVANIA

We will work with a church in a variety of projects which may include painting, a food drive, street sweeping, music camp, sports camp, and Vacation Bible School.

Each trip is limited to 30 people because of housing considerations.

ALSO, JULY 20-25 WVCSB MISSIONS CAMP

Designed for boys, girls, and teens. Spend a week at camp to learn about missions and to do missions. Mission study, Bible study, worship, and crafts for children. Teenagers will get to participate in mission activities in the Charleston, WV, area. Recreation and relaxation make up the camp experience, too.
